Palestine sunbird
The Palestine sunbird is a small passerine bird of the sunbird family, Nectariniidae. Found in parts of the Middle East and sub-Saharan Africa, it is also known as the orange-tufted sunbird, a name also used for the similar Cinnyris bouvieri, found further south in Africa.
In 2015, the Palestinian Authority adopted the species as
a national bird
. The specific name osea is derived from Ancient Greek.source :

The source of this idea was an interesting documentary I saw. About a custom stamp for the proposed State of Palestine - one I would like to see in our Slowly collections someday.

Support new Location stamps for underserved Countries?
Dear Slowly friends,
Some of us stamp collectors decided to try to
get Location stamps
- for the many countries which still did not have ANY so far
. Many of us feel that is important, and fair with the Slowly users who live in these countries.Please check this

I imagine it was released before the Sunbird was adopted as the Palestinian national bird, I imagine. I was a bit surprised too.
