I also like stamps that let people express their identity. One example is the horoscope set.

I found someone comparing it to North Korea. In fact it’s not that hard to visit North Korea, you just can’t go anywhere freely. Some of my friends visited there before. And yes, they got internet as well.
So for Antarctica it’s a different story. If we create a stamp only those who find a way to fake their GPS ( not even VPN because technically there’s no VPN servers there ) will be able to get it. Not ideal, right?

Those who actually collect stamps probably empty world explorer anyway. And once someone has it from there, he can send it to others so it doesn't have to be the only user sending it to everyone else.

I still don't understand what your problem is. Stamp collectors will just collect the stamps. Slowly, bit by bit. New users who decide to collect stamps will eventually collect them too. I started collecting in November and my collection is already pretty decent (right now 999 stamps of which I own 597). If you don't like the idea of the stamp for Antarctica, just keep silent and support the stamps that you do like.

Cool idea! I guess maybe an 'Antarctica Footprint' stamp should also be created for those who receive letters from Antarctica!

I am the penpal. I was disappointed to realize that Antarctica doesn't have a stamp. On the other hand, I'm not sure what to put on it!

JablečnýDžus: maybe Mount Vinson? For people who don’t know, that’s the highest mountain of Antarctica :)

c.elise.t: Maybe something simple like a flag in the snow with the description "South Pole". Maybe with darkness behind and some aurora. But maybe not, it shouldn't be overloaded.

Šílenákokoska: that's true, but they're also already gonna roll out an aurora stamp, so we would have doubles there as well. I googled for a bit and stumbled upon this; Pleneau Bay. It looks quite unique, and is definitely something people would look up. I like when a slowly stamp makes me curious about a country / city, and a stamp like this would do just that for sure.
