its a festival for all the ethnic groups in bangladesh.it also comes from 3 words. The name Boishabi comes from the first few letters of three vernacular words: Boisukh (Tripura tribe's New Year), Shangail (Marma tribe's New Year), and Biju (Chakma tribe's New Year). It is the grandest carnival of all the tribes who are residents of the Chittagong Hill Tracts. it would be great a tribute to the ethnic people. and not just the ethnic people. we all can celebrate them

[Bangladesh] Baisabi
Rhatatouille
Baisabi is the main New Year festival of three indigenous ethnic communities in the Chittagong Hill Tracts of Bangladesh. It is one of their major social events. For the Tripuras, it is known as Baisub, Baisu, or Baisu; for the Marmas, it is called Sangrai; and for the Chakmas and Tanchangyas, it is called Biju. The name Baisabi is derived from the first letters of these three festivals. "Bai" comes from the Tripura's Baisu, "Sa" from the Marma's Sangrai, and "Bi" from the Chakma's Biju. The combined form of these three words is 'Baisabi.'
