The Srebrenica Flower (Cvijet Srebrenice) is a symbolic flower designed to commemorate the Srebrenica Genocide of July 1995. It has become a powerful emblem of memory, resistance, and hope for survivors, families of victims, and all who stand against genocide.

Symbolism:

11 white petals: Represent innocence and the date of the genocide – July 11, 1995.

Green center: Symbolizes hope, renewal, and life. It also honors the resilience of survivors.

The flower also represents the ongoing process of identifying and burying the victims—each year, new victims are laid to rest on July 11.
