"Sinking fish, falling geese, closing the moon, and blushing flowers" are historical allusions composed of wonderful stories. "Sunken fish" tells the story of Xi Shi Huansha. "Falling Wild Goose" refers to the story of Zhaojun going out of the frontier, "Closing the Moon" refers to the story of Diao Chan worshipping the moon, and "Shaming the Flowers" refers to the story of Yang Yuhuan when she was drunk and watching flowers.
