Chhath puja
Riti1219
It lasts for four days and goes like this on the first day, people clean their whole house really well. The second day is spent fasting all day, and in the evening, they eat a sweet meal. On the third day, they make prasad 'thekua.' In the evening, families go to a nearby ghat (river) to offer prayers to the setting sun with fruits and sweets. On the last day, they do the same prayers, but this time to the rising sun, and afterward everyone can eat the prasad and fruits.
The idea of praying to both the setting and rising sun feels so symbolic like honoring both endings and beginnings. Not many people knew outside i want them to know
Here is image suggestions as it's main prasad
As stamp like this really reflect well
