This mountain, besides being the largest volcano in Asia, holds a significant and prominent place in Iranian literature and mythology. According to legends, one of the ancient tyrants, who oppressed people after being deceived by the devil, is imprisoned there. I think this mountain, with its red flowers at the base, could be a beautiful idea for Iran stamp. In Iran we have damavand day on the 13th day of the fourth Iranian calendar month of Tir, coinciding with July 4 this year.
