Varuna (sky), Atar (fire, light), Mitra (seal or sun), moon and stars, Anahita (Venus), Varahran (Bahram or Mars), Kshatriya (Arrow or Mercury), Indra (Azarkhash), wind god, Guate (wind) and earth were the gods of the Aryan peoples.
On top of these gods, whose place was under the sky and were the managers of the affairs of the world and man, there were also two creators named Ahura and Dev, who were brothers and whose place was above the sky. Ahura was the god governing the world affairs during the day and his essence was manifested in the sun, and Dev was the god governing the world at night and his essence was manifested in the moon and stars. Aryan gods belonged to two groups. Asuras (Ahuras in Iran) and another group of demons who were next to them. In the religious history of the Aryans, both of these groups of gods fought for their supremacy.
