İshak Paşa Palace is located in the Doğubayazıt district of Ağrı. Construction began in 1685 and was completed in 1784. The palace is a large complex that includes a mosque, tomb, library, cellars, quarters, harem, and selamlık (reception) sections. Although it was built during the Ottoman Empire period, the palace mainly reflects Seljuk architectural influences. Additionally, Western art movements such as Baroque, Gothic, Rococo, and Empire styles can also be observed in its design. Since 2000, İshak Paşa Palace has been on UNESCO’s Tentative List of World Heritage Sites.
