Hello, SLOWLY team, how are you doing? I would like to propose a series of postage stamps that celebrate Kyrgyzstan's rich sports culture and its strong connection to traditional and modern athletic disciplines. Actually most of them are widely distributed among other cultures and countries, Central Asian ones in particular.
Kok-Boru is a traditional horse-mounted game played in Central Asia. The goal of the game is to place a headless goat carcass (it's ok, the goat is not real nowadays) into a designated area. The game is highly physical and involves a lot of skill, strength, and strategy. It is often played during major celebrations and festivals.
The appropriate images are named "kok-boru_n.png".
Kyz Kuu is a traditional horse-riding game where a man and a woman race each other on horseback. The girl starts first, the man does later. If he manages to catch up with the girl, he gets the right to hug and kiss her while riding.
However, in the opposite direction, the participants start in a different order. Now the young man gets a head start, and the girl must catch up with him. If she succeeds, she has the right to beat him with a whip :)
This game showcases the skill and speed of both riders and is a traditional way to celebrate and demonstrate horsemanship. It is also associated with courting rituals in Kyrgyz culture.

Oodarysh is a traditional wrestling competition. Wrestlers compete in an arena, and the aim is to throw the opponent to the ground.
This sport is an important part of Kyrgyz heritage and is often featured in festivals and public celebrations.

Toguz-Korgool is a traditional Kyrgyz board game and belongs to the Mancala family of games. It is played on a board with pits or holes, and the objective is to capture as many pebbles as possible by moving them around the board according to specific rules.
The significance of the game for nomadic Turkic peoples, including the Kyrgyz, is that the warlike people played toguz-korgool in peacetime and developed their military-strategic thinking skills. The game is based on the conquest of the enemy's troops, wealth and estates. At the same time, each pebble symbolizes a warrior.

Another postage stamp representing the cultural heritage of Kyrgyzstan might be dedicated to Salbuurun, a complex hunting game with hunting birds and dogs, held in Kyrgyzstan. It includes falconry, archery (sometimes horseback archery), and hunting with a taigan. Salbuurun comes from a nomadic tradition of hunting and protecting herds from predators such as wolves.
The appropriate images are named "salbuurun_n.jpg"
Thank you
Sincerely,
Temirlan E.
