It can be for Greek's (the olive branch), Japanese's (Hei and Wa), Sanskrit (शान्तिः), Tibetan (The swastika), etc

As cosmopolitans, we should call a message for peace on this ground

I ask the administrator to make two topics from one topic, as it was originally. The topic to which my post was attached is not exactly the same as what I suggested. I didn't want to make a peace symbol, because there are plenty of them already.
Moreover, this post features a swastika, which generally contradicts my call.
I have nothing against the symbol that the author posted, but I think modern people have strong associations with it. I ask you to either delete my post completely, or do it as it was originally. Thank you.

This thread has had less activity since September 2022 than my post had in one week. I think it would be fair to leave everything as it was.

call for peace

Hello. In front of you is an inverted Pacific sign that resembles a sniper scope. The author proposes to turn it and what is happening so that peace reigns on earth. I'm not a designer, so I sketched it out, maybe someone can make something worthy out of it. If appropriate, I suggest making it a little asymmetrical and frayed and possibly cracked.
You can also play with words a little: like "turn the world" or "change the world" Perhaps I have a bad idea of how exactly you can work with this, because in russian the words peace(мир) and world(мир) are homonyms.
Sorry if for some reason this is inappropriate or against community rules. It may also not be suitable for some other reason. I just want to contribute and I do it the best I can. Thank you.

mapuo: Hey, Mapuo! In my opinion, the more calls for peace, the better.
Sorry if this is supposed to be your vision. I didn't mean to interfere with your plans.

A very controversial symbol. The olive branch is a sign of victory in competition or war.
平和 a state of equilibrium outside war. Rather a symbol of "we are not at war because we are equal in strength" (the most honest symbol).
शान्तिः state outside the Good-Bad dualism. Just like "People Just Following Orders." A great addition to the next option.
The swastika is not a Tibetan symbol. "Good to be" depicts the four fields of the earth with an open border, indicating the possibility of expansion. Including by conquest. That's why it was chosen by Hitler.
About other possible symbols. Dove. Taken from the Bible. A bird indicating the possibility of obtaining no man's land. About the broad interpretation of getting land in the Old Testament... If you also consider the symbol of military victory in its beak. That's a great image!
No, it's not cynicism. It's just an acknowledgment of the truth.
