For this idea of stamp set, I think introducing some popular Filipino dishes would be pretty cool to share with my pen pals who knows nothing much about the Philippines. Adobo is one if not our most famous dish, and so I think it’s very important that it’s included. Lumpia is also pretty popular so definitely have it also included there. Lechon is a well known dish inside the Philippines, it’s a grand festive to have Lechon present at the table. Halo-halo is also one of our most loved desert and it’d be cool to draw that and have it incorporated in one of the stamps. For the last stamp, I was conflicted between Sinigang and Leche Flan. Sinigang is also a famous dish next to Adobo. And Leche Flan is also a popular desert but the thing is, I’m not sure if Leche Flan originated from the Philippines. And so, since this stamp set is gonna be about Popular Filipino dishes, I figured that you might not want to include Leche Flan for the reason that it didn’t start from us. And so, I think Sinigang would be a pretty good alternative. But if you have any other Filipino dish in mind, please feel free.
