Since Poland has been the birthplace of many important scientists throughout the centuries, I would like to suggest a premium set for Poland, which would include the following great characters:
  1. Mikołaj Kopernik (Nicolas Copernicus), the one who “stopped the Sun and moved the Earth”
  2. Maria Skłodowska-Curie, the first ever woman to receive the Nobel Prize and the first person ever to receive 2 of them in different fields (physics and chemistry).
  3. 3. Jan Heweliusz, another great astronomer, who observed and described the Moon and comets.
  4. Ignacy Łukasiewicz, who invented the kerosene lamp.
  5. Henryk Arctowski, a meteorologist, the first person to spend winter in Antarctica to pursue investigations.
  6. Jan Szczepanik - the inventor of television and coloured photography
Thank you!
