I think the date should be 2nd of April or 13th of May

“Celebrated every year on October 16”, but of course you can ask to Poland to change the date, let us know if they reply.

Yeah, but the real celebration is on the 2nd of April, day of his death. On this day, on 9.37 P.M., everyone is singing "Barka" - song that is tightly connected to him. I personally don't know one polish person which has celebrated in October, but plenty that have in April.
