The Iberian lynx is an emblematic animal in my country, Spain. I would love to see it represented in Slowly with a stamp.
It is a well-known animal because at the beginning of the 21st century there were very few specimens left, which made it the most endangered feline species in the world: it was critically endangered.
However, after numerous conservation and recovery efforts, the species has been reintroduced and today, although it is still in danger of extinction, its population is increasing and specimens of Iberian lynx have begun to be seen in places where they had not been sighted for decades.
