Astrophysics stands above politics and wars. Scientists and astronauts continue to do science work on the space station. I would like to propose to make a stamp with the image of Yuri Gagarin, the man who first flew into space, as a symbol of both the Russian space program and a significant contribution to world space exploration. Astronauts are the heroes of our time, about whom people speak too little. Yuri Gagarin was born March 9, 1934.
