Most of the world has heard of Somalia but might not know too much about the country itself. I think that a location stamp for Somalia is a good idea and I would like to suggest the Mosque of Islamic Solidarity.
Somalia, officially named the Federal Republic of Somalia, is the easternmost country in Africa. It is located in the Horn of Africa, which is actually Somali Peninsula and the fourth largest peninsula in the world. Additionally, Somalia has the longest coastline on the mainland of Africa. The name, Horn of Africa, was given much in part due to its appearance as a horn on the map.

As religion is such a big part of life in Somalia, it makes sense to me that their most iconic mosque should be featured on a location stamp. The Mosque of Islamic Solidarity, which is also known as Union Mosque, is considered the most primary mosque in Mogadishu. It was constructed in 1987 and features a single minaret that is 35 meters high (115 ft). The Mosque has the capacity to hold up to 10,000 people, making it the largest Mosque in the Horn of Africa.
