[Spain] Vieira shell
JoseBr
It's a symbol of the city and a symbol for El Camino, you can see them hanging in the backpacks of the pilgrims

Wouldn't it be better if instead of just the vieira shell, something more descriptive were seen? Like the pilgrim walking the path. And instead of the vieira shell stamp 'Camino de Santiago'. Let me give you an example:

Desinquieto. I like your idea about Camino de Santiago, although the Vieira represents much more in the history of the Camino.
The Vieira is the Cross of Santiago, which is the symbol of the Order of the Knights of Santiago, a military and religious order founded in 1170. The name was taken from the Apostle Santiago and was intended to protect pilgrims along the Camino. Another of their functions was to give them shelter, food and spiritual help. That is why I believe that the Vieira is the symbol of the Camino de Santiago.
It appears on all the signs along the way and in hostels until you reach Santiago and can win La Compostela, which is the document that certifies that the pilgrim has completed the Camino de Santiago.
The Vieira is a hallmark of Galicia and cannot be exchanged for a different seal.
Yes, Im from Galicia. I know what im talking about..jeje

Talking about The Way (El Camino) as a vital mood. An international scenario in which you can see a Japanese and a Mexican suffering together the hard walk and encouraging each other to complete this exhausting adventure in Santiago or in Finisterre. This incredible historical path deserves an stamp for sure!
