[Turkey] Tulips
bunyaminz
A flower that gives its name to a period in the Ottoman Empire (Tulip Era, 1718-1730) and is frequently used as a motif in Classical Ottoman architecture. Although it is now identified with the Netherlands, it went to there from Ottoman Empire.

There is a tulip stamp (Tulpendag/ Tulip day) already but it's limited to the Netherlands around January. Maybe it could also be made available in Turkey aswell.

JoshuaIWuis: Thanks for support.
There are groves with many tulip gardens, and a tulip festival in Istanbul. I thought Turkey deserves a tulip stamp too. Or maybe it could also be a tulip festival stamp. Festival is held in April.
