[United Kingdom] Alan turing
C41tx
Alan Turing was an inspirational man, who helped shorten the Second world war by many years, and saved millions of lives, by cracking the German enigma code. He also created the first "computer" as we know it today. He was never given any praise or awards for his genius work, instead he was given punishment for being Gay. He deserves the recognition and praise for his incredible achievements in life. I think the stamp should be celebrating his birthday, 23rd June, celebrating him.
