I forgot to comment on that, Severina Minervina, but
I fully agree and support the idea of new Location stamps for Brazil
.There were a couple already posted here :
- one suggesting the Elevador Lacerda, in Salvador, Bahia, which I think is excellent as the building is so unique and visually outstanding.
- and the one proposing the MASP building, in São Paulo, which is also excellent, I love it.
Do you have any suggestions for possible new Brazilian Location stamps? I am thinking of creating a new topic sometime soon with some proposals. Thank you!!

As Nonethewiser mentioned, the Festa Junina stamp was proposed here, quickly approved and put into production.
Besides Saint John, on June 24, St. Anthony on June 13 and St Peter on June 29 are also commemorated.
These traditions exist in Portugal as well - in Lisboa, June marks a full month festival and street party for Santo António, who was born in Lisbon. 😀😊

You will get this one though. It was requested and will be available this month:

A nice suggestion, Isabella.
And since there are also Festas Juninas in Portugal, maybe it could be a dual country issue?
Good information and photos showing the Portuguese ones here : https://www.fragatasurprise.com/2018/05/portugal-festas-juninas.html

ImpossibleTwin: Oh, yes, absolutely! Good idea, Yann. Thank you for improving my suggestion :)

istovx: You are very welcome. I have not been in Lisbon during the month of June yet, but have seen the streets getting prepared for the festivities.
Santo António is the saint patron of the city, he was born there, and it's a big event during June - the whole month!
I usually visit in April and May, I love Portugal. Will be going there in soon, the first real travel for me since my last visit in 2019.
There is a Church of Santo António in Lisbon, built on the location where he was born, and the original bedroom he was born in can be visited. It's on a crypt below the church. It's on the Alfama neighbourhood, a block away from Lisbon's Cathedral.

ImpossibleTwin: How interesting! Here in Brazil, most Festa Junina parties are related to São João, but we also have Santo Antônio parties.
I sure hope you enjoy visiting Portugal during such a special time of the year. Make sure to attend many Festa Junina parties and visit all Santo Antônio related places!

istovx: Ah, I will be in the country during May, for three weeks, so I again won't be able to see the June festivities first hand. Pity as they seem quite neat!
May has the important anniversary of the apparition in Fátima - May 13, 1917 was the first one. And every year there are pilgrimages to Fátima on May 13. People from all over the world visit, and people from many places in Portugal sometimes walk to there, I saw them on the roads in 2017 which was the Centennial Year and a big event.
I am looking forward to seeing some of the monuments and locations shown in the Slowly stamps - next Sunday I will be walking by the Rua Augusta Arch, which is in Lisbon and a lovely monument.
Later in my trip I could visit others - like the Old Cathedral in Coimbra, the Porto Cathedral, and the Church of Santa Engrácia, in Lisbon, which is lovely...

ImpossibleTwin: Oh nevermind then, sorry hahaha.
It sounds like an amazing trip, though. Portugal definitely has a bunch of interesting places to visit. I can only imagine how exciting it is to visit the monuments and locations shown in Slowly stamps. Enjoy your time in Portugal :)
