STOP releasing premium stamps/sets for the same countries!

- The second premium set for Brazil where there are also two premium stamps.
- The set for Turkey was released in April and this is already the third premium stamp there.
- The second premium stamp for Indonesia where there is also a set.
- There was already a premium stamp in the Netherlands.
- Two premium stamps for Bangladesh.
- The third premium stamp for Argentina.
- The second premium stamp for Chile.
- The second premium stamp for Colombia.
- The second premium stamp for Japan where there is also a set.
- The second premium stamp for New Zealand/the first premium stamp for Australia where there is also a set.
- The second premium stamp for Taiwan where there is also a set.
- The second premium stamp for China where there is also a set.
- The first premium stamp for Germany where there are also two sets.
I analyzed only this year (excluding stamps of European castles)
How many premium stamps/sets are there in Central America and the Caribbean? zero!
How many premium stamps/sets are there in Africa (except Egypt)? 5 and one set for all countries.
How many premium stamps/sets are there in Central Asia? zero!
How many premium stamps are there in West Asia (except Turkey)? two!
I would also like to draw your attention to the fact that all new local premium sets are desserts, while the request for a set reflecting Ireland's rich cultural heritage has been ignored since May last year!

We've discovered that some users have created multiple accounts to manipulate the results on this feedback site, including but not limited to this post. We've taken action by suspending these accounts and removing their posts, comments, and votes.
I want to be clear about our original intention for creating this site: it was to gather suggestions from local users and validate the information we find online. This helps us expand the scope and address the limitations of relying solely on internet sources.
This situation deeply saddens us because our team has invested a significant amount of time in reviewing and maintaining this feedback site. We'll continue to monitor and block fake accounts in the hope of putting an end to this unfair situation. However, if we can't control it, we may have no choice but to shut down this feedback site and seek alternative ways to collect genuine user feedback.
Lastly, we acknowledge that our current stamp collection may not meet everyone's expectations. But I promise you that we'll do our best to improve and remain open to your suggestions.
Thank you for being part of our community, and we look forward to serving you in the future.

As JoJo explained earlier, I am now closing this post because the author account has been suspended. To avoid this and provide our team with more context when reviewing feedback, a new SSO authentication is now in place.
Please refer to this changelog for more information.
Thank you.

Shiro from Slowly: Hey Shiro, even tho the topic have been created by someone who got their account suspended, I still believe in there are valuable comments and the data presented in the request is interesting. Could it be reopened in a neutral way, keeping the upvotes and comments ? Thank you.
Also thanks to Slowly team for the new SSO authentification, a welcomed feature and all the work given, as well to always want to improve and remain open to the community suggestions !

JoJo Chan: please don’t close the site. Thanks for all the work you’re doing, but in my opinion having multiple votes for an idea is not what matters. As somebody pointed out, lots of ideas were approved even with a low amount of votes and this is what keeps me adding new ideas, in fact I don’t care about the votes and when I find a possible new idea for a stamp I just add it despite the fact it will get votes or not, because I know the Slowly team will add a new stamp for example if it’s proposed for an important event even with only 5-10 votes.
I also noticed about 150 proposals have just been removed, I can understand that people with multiple accounts may ruin the votes system, but is it possible to check if their ideas were good or at least give us a list of what has been removed? In this way we can re-add some of the proposals to the site, if they deserve it.
Madmax
Let's be fair ok, name one another app that is doing a better job / coverage when we are talking about releasing in-app products that promote the world different cultures.
I couldn't find one even close. Even tech giant like Apple, the Emojis are much worst scenario. And you are blaming a much much much smaller team that at least regularly updating, seriously? Who said someone proposed an idea have to be done because it was requested May last year? Which company on earth will give this kind of promise?
Just propose for your own country dear stamp collectors, you guys are constantly proposing sth that the locals feel embarrassing. If the locals don't request means there are not enough users / no demands / they don't care. Don't tell me sth like my country got 2 mil population blah blah, the point is they are not using Slowly, simple.
ASRandASR
Madmax: lots of ideas made by locals are being ignored. I don’t see why proposals should be made by locals only, so basically if locals don’t have ideas they don’t deserve stamps in your opinion? This is so nonsense, also because having tons of ideas for a single country doesn’t mean they deserve tons of stamps. Some countries are not using slowly obviously, so what? Should they just be ignored for this reason?
Slowly team did a good job in the past, but this doesn’t mean they can’t do better, they clearly said they wanted to complete the flag collection, but they didn’t. They made a feedback site to get suggestions and they made different statuses to the various proposals, but now they are ignoring suggestions and they forgot about the statuses, so I don’t see why we should just thank the slowly team and shut up.
Madmax
ASRandASR: We can continue to propose, that's why there's a feedback site. They didn't stop you from proposing either, I can see some of your suggestions are released. Or you expecting every requests has to be fulfilled? Then you have to manage your own expectation.
Madmax
ASRandASR: For me, I can see lots of them are released. https://feedback.slowly.app/stamp-requests?status=complete
ASRandASR
Madmax: the “Under Review”, “Planned” and “In Progress” proposals have been in those statuses for more than a year, that’s what I’m talking about.
Some of my ideas became stamps, lots of them actually I agree with you, but are we sure they became stamps because they were proposed? I made tons of proposals and only less than 10% have been approved, many of my ideas are just in the usual kind of stuff they add, so they may could have added them in any case even if I didn’t propose them. Plus, we shouldn’t talk about myself, because it isn’t my post actually. Even if they were only adding my ideas, people would have the right to say “hey, stop giving so much attention to ASRandASR and start considering other people’s ideas too”.
We can continue to propose of course, but it’s a lot of time consuming to make researches and add new posts, so I think it’s fair to ask that all the ideas must be taken into consideration and it’s also fair to complete what is easy to complete, for example flags… once, the flags only had a single post where all the proposals were added, but during the last months lots of us noticed that the comments in the post were ignored, instead new posts became stamps for no reason and what is even worse is that local people asked for their county flags but they have been totally ignored, as we saw new flags for local regions and territories which should have been added later… the main reason people is upset is because they only add ~20 new stamps per month and guess what? They add stamps for events in 6-10 months instead of adding events for the next month or they add food sets for countries with many stamps and ignoring the very cool ideas for location stamps in countries with 0 stamps at all…
You can say they can decide what they want, of course, but we have the right to point out what should have priority when they add this low amount of new stamps. If they added a fair amount every month like 50 or more, no one would say anything and probably we would be all happy
Madmax
ASRandASR: Trust me, when they make 50 or more every month, there will be sth else to blame; or someone will still ask for more, endless.
If we're talking about this post, I think they should close it because it's a statement, not a proposal.
However, I believe this post will stay here for a long period ( They can't close it because the baby will cry harder / they can't complete it because this can never be "completed" ) and the only contribution will be setting up a negative vibe. Well done 👍
One year later you can create another post saying OMFG it's already one year, this post is still OPEN! No one is listening to me! SHOUT OUT TO EQUALITY!
angelofdudes
You are totally correct!
Bajaja
I can't imagine anyone giving you anything in real life when you behave like this. Slowly co. makes stamps as they want. Maybe they prioritize country with the most users or the most paying users or the most growing countries etc. They do not do anything bad by neither producing more stamps to countries they like nor ignoring your request.
You can consider asking nicely, behaving like adults, and it would have more weight, if you claimed you were at least paying users.
For the record, I dislike all flags and half foods and I especially hate the poo stamp but it never crossed my mind to come and shout, I collect those stamps that I like, upvote Flowers 3 and try send few letters too.
Bajaja
please continue. how many stamps before the last one? how many Slowly users in your country? and you are paying Slowly to create those stamps?
Bajaja
please think again. I don't care about your personal opinions about me. My point, as I repeat is, that you are not entitled to your perceived justice among virtual post stamps.
mapuo
he and the so-called collectors who buy up any shit that Slowly produces. he doesn't care about the fact that 1/4 of the countries still haven't received local stamps, nor that this is the fourth set of desserts in a row. i even know who liked his comment, people who have 8 premium stamps in a local store. these people have no idea what diversity is!
mapuo
Bajaja: keep your opinion to yourself. this topic is not for you and people like you!
ASRandASR
Bajaja: did you realize this site is literally called FEEDBACK.slowly? Ok, you may use slowly.canny, but this is clearly a feedback site. It’s made for users to suggest something new for the app, if people believes the suggestions are ignored, what should they do? Just shut up because we don’t pay?
By the way, I have a secret for you, many of the stamp collectors buy coins to buy stamps, but who knows, maybe you checked on the Slowly accounting and saw Bea didn’t spend much…
They do something bad by producing stamps only for the countries they like, it’s called diversity and inclusion. Imagine if they start adding only stamps for Russia and satellite countries, pro war and stuff like that, would be it be still ok for you? I don’t think so, obviously forgetting about Africa, Caribbeans and Oceania could be reasonable somehow, but it’s still reasonable to go to a feedback site and ask for something else than what they are doing.
chickaz
Bajaja: I agree with you. I think slowly co. must have their own reason for prioritizing some countries instead of others. Through selling stamps with coins , Slowly co. generates profits. They publish new stamps maybe for (generous user in) particular countries that spend big amounts of coins. If I am the owner of Slowly Co, I'd definately would do the same. I publish new premium stamps that will generates profit. The company have to gain something to continue their service, right? Some people here need to think as entrepreneur to understand their reason.
mapuo
chickaz: Do you agree with him because there are 8 premium stamps in Indonesia? Would you still agree with him if your local stamp store was empty? so hypocritical! I spent $200, where are my stamps?
ASRandASR
chickaz: this is nonsense, lots of countries by very few users or even 0 already have stamps and I tell you a secret: rich people travel a lot, they go on cruises to many Caribbean countries, Oceania, on trips to Africa, there are even cruises to Svalbard, did you know it?
If I go on holidays in a very small country one thing I would do is log into slowly and reply to my penpals so they receive a very special letter. Also, imagine seeing the flag of this small territory ready to be purchased for coins, you would probably buy it because you won’t stay there on the flag day or you can buy premium stamps as well. Also, local and commemorative stamps from all the countries can be purchased too, users who spend coins probably knew this already.
chickaz
mapuo: Hi Yana. Long time no chat with you. Hope you are doing fine wherever you are now. Anyway, about the stamp.... I am not going to whining like a child or fight with you. This is their company. They can not make everybody happy. They can do whatever they want. If my country have no stamps, I will propose some but if they don't publish it...that's okay too. We can not get everything we want, right?
mapuo
chickaz: at least we could try!
chickaz
ASRandASR: Rich people don't have time to log on Slowly 🤣😄 Rich people don't travel through VPN like some of people do. If they travel to any location and can not find stamp on the local store, do you think they will be mad and complaining to Slowly Co ? I don't think so 😂 Well I am not rich but I have more than 12.000 coins to spend. If you want any stamp, i can gift it to you. Premium Single, Premium set.. you name it 😉
chickaz
mapuo: yes we could try, we even discussed some stamps proposal together last year if you remember. But the decision is still on their hand.
mapuo

Madmax
Same if the idea collected enough votes? I am not sure which country you're in, but did you propose sth for it and being ignored? What was it?
Madmax
chickaz: Exactly. esp. "premium".
Madmax
I challenge you to name one single game by those giants you've mentioned that designed virtual items for over 37 countries.
How about the biggest game that rely on IAP to run? Fortnite? Look inside the virtual item store and see how many items they have designed for Africian? West Asian?
After that, think again who is better promoting equality.
btw, I believe Slowly released much more than "37 countries" and there are currently 193 countries by UN definition.
r.se.lin
The island of Saint Martin includes Saint-Martin (FR) and Sint Maarten (NL) is still not worthy of attention. You ask for premium stamps but we only received the St. Martin's Day stamp
gulceee
I completely agree with you, most of the time countries that have many stamps already are the ones to have new ones. I wish we could see more stamps that show a country's culture. Especially Africa as a whole lacks stamps a lot.
Nonethewiser
Slowly is obsessed with with food and specifically desserts - expect more identical sets. They don't care about the heritage they cannot eat (mythology folklore, culture).. European castles were a miracle, because they are not edible - still not sure how that happened.
mapuo
Nonethewiser: I still can't believe we will not get a set of Greek gods😭😭😭
Kazaah
Nonethewiser: I must agree with you about those dessert sets and I will mostly focus on the European food sets, as they are the cuisines I know and have experienced the most.
From my POV, French, Italian, Romanian and Turkish sets could easily be split in-between main dishes and desserts. They all have a wide range of starters, main dishes and desserts. Also, I still wonder why there was no croissant in the French one but that's another subject.
Still, I was definitely surprised about the Dutch and German sets, which aren't worldwide known for their cuisine, to say the least and I feel they were a miss. Like ASRandASR pointed out ironically in the topic "don’t worry, the next food set is for UK…".
Also, I don't agree with the direction regarding the Greek gods set and Ganesha requests. Adding a second Brazilian set is a thing, but choosing the desserts instead of the folklore request (which is under review) is another. We should have more diversity in sets / preniums, which should represent in the best possible way the culture of the focused country.
Hopefully it will take a better direction soon !

Kazaah: quote from changelog 1 year ago "The lines between religion and mythology are often blurred, and we are trying to establish guidelines to help our team differentiate between the two. Until then, the review and production of stamps with religious or mythological themes will be suspended unless it is a festival or public holiday (regional release) designated by the local government or a credible organization." https://feedback.slowly.app/changelog
they don't know that both American continents and Europe are Christians. request for Nordic mythology was closed due to "we are too lazy" https://feedback.slowly.app/stamp-requests/p/nordic-mythology
Norse Cosmology still opens but even not under review https://feedback.slowly.app/stamp-requests/p/norse-cosmology
same with Mexican legends https://feedback.slowly.app/stamp-requests/p/mexican-legends-premium-stamp-set
Irish Mythological Creatures https://feedback.slowly.app/stamp-requests/p/ireland-irish-mythological-creatures-premium-set
my idea for Roman Gods https://feedback.slowly.app/stamp-requests/p/roman-gods
and European Mythological Creatures https://feedback.slowly.app/stamp-requests/p/european-mythological-creatures-premium-set
mapuo
Kazaah: the irony is that this contradicts the criterion
Uniqueness - whether similar concepts have been executed
from the changelog https://feedback.slowly.app/changelog/welcome-to-the-brand-new-user-feedback-siteKazaah
mapuo: The saddest part is people got excited about mythos / legends and they asked amazing requests as you can see on this topic. I recall indeed this statement that Slowly team made regarding the lines in-between religion and mythology.
You can also see the comment on the Ganesha request, mentioning making religious stamps in a detourned way, actually I think it's quite unfair for the people and culture that didn't got specific mythos or religious stamps, while others did.
mapuo
Kazaah: it's another irony because
Universality and popularity - voting and data collection will be used as references.
but we will choose only what we likenone of these religious festivals depict a deity as it was conceived with Ganesh, so why is it unfair?
Madmax
Nonethewiser: So they released the castle series is a miracle, not they are listening. wow. :)
Nonethewiser
Madmax: They listen, but only do whay they want, which makes a joke out of this site. The majority here wanted mythology stamps - Slowly hated this and even released a statement about it. Same goes for literature stamps (although no statement). So yes, them releasing so many non-food stamps is wow.
mapuo
Korea received the 21st stamp yesterday. You just have to wait for them to run out of ideas lol
Please DON'T release vietnamese food set, I pray you!
ASRandASR
mapuo: don’t worry, the next food set is for UK…
mapuo
ASRandASR: 😭😭😭😭😭
